Avalem Territori is an initiative promoted by Labora, the Valencian Employment and Training Service of the Generalitat Valenciana, coordinated by the Universitat de València and with the participation of the Universitat d'Alacant and the Universitat Jaume I de Castelló. Its aim is to adapt employment policies to the Valencian territory and productive sectors.
Avalem Territori was born in 2017 as a commitment to economic revitalisation and the promotion of employment, based on a rigorous and participatory diagnosis of the labour market from a territorial perspective.
The project has brought together specialists from these three public universities in their different fields of research, territory and employment, and technicians from local administrations, bodies and entities, who have been involved in the whole process of analysis, strategic planning and definition of the actions that make up the Employment Pacts.
